I paid him $825 over a month ago and I have still not received my transmission. Every week he gave me excuse why he couldnt send me my transmission. I even offered to drive to florida to pick it up from his house or pay him to ship it, but he comes up with more excuses to why the transmission is still in the car. I asked him to give me back my money and he never got back to me. B/c its about to past 45 days after the transaction, I knew that I should work it out through paypal before it is too late to get my money back if he decides to screw me. I just found out that he doesnt won't to work it out through paypal and now paypal will decide the outcome. Which sucks for me b/c I have to wait prolly another 20 days to get my money back.

I may have some bad news for you but i hope not. I am a very frequent user of ebay and paypal. I know it you do not make your claim with the 30 day peroid after the transaction you are SOL. BUT if you used a Credit card or Paypal buyer credit contact your credit card/paypal buyer credit and file a dispute directly with them they have a longer window that 30 days. I know how you feel man i been thru it many times. PM me maybe i can hook you up with a tranny.

its 45 days and thats why I filed claimed before it was up. The seller is now piss b/c I did file a claim and instead of working it out with me through paypal, he wants paypal to decide what happens.

I don't know why. But instead of working it out through paypal, he escalated the matter, so it is now up to paypal to decide on the matter. I am hoping to get my money back

or my tranny, but who knows what can happen when it involves paypal

There might be some good and bad news for you here. Talking from experience

Paypal can choose not to refund the money if the buyer provides a tracking # etc. Also if you didn't go through ebay then paypal says you SOL b/c they dont protect non-ebay transactions. B/c they dont care what you get as long as yo got something.. could be an empty box. (i bought a set of mudflaps and the seller sent me 2 usable ones and other two were not usable, paypal said sorry we cant help on quality.)

The good is If he can't furnish a tracking# or confirmation you got the item, then you will get paid and his bal will be neg.

BUT in your case you hvae the upper hand b/c he has not sent anything out. BTW people who do this usually have delt wiht paypal and know the system. NEXT time paypal via Credit Card so you can dispute any non-ebay items. I empathize with you, i hate scammers.

But since you never got anything you in good hands.

I used my credit card to pay 500 and I used the 327 in my paypal account to pay for the rest. So If I only get 300 from the claim, them I will go to amex to get the rest

Yeah the tranny was sitting on a pallet in a truck, I asked you for a address to ship it to. The next day you back out, I explained in full detail in first conversation you had with me via the phone it would take some time to get the trans to you. You agreed to this and understood. Now you back out, yeah I did escalate the matter because you even said as long as I get it to you with in the week that I told you there was only two bolts holding it on that it would be fine. I told you that I cant get it shipped that week because I had military duty you understood then backed out. The reason I don't answer your phone calls is because I see unknown try not blocking your number so I know its you. Last time I ever do a deal with someone that is so eager to send the money before the item was ready. Now you threaten my feed back so your going to have to work damn hard to get all of you 825.00 I can provide paypal with tracking numbers from the shipping company I was going to use and the cost of removal and install of the transmission. I was fine with giving you the money back until you did this. Reap what you sew.

I called you on sat to see whats up and you said nothing, you told me you were with your army unit this weekend when I talked to you on friday. When I texted ralier today, that was my first time hearing about you having the tranny out. I rather have the tranny instead of my money and I told you that. I have given you more that enough chances and I am still giving you chances to do "RIGHT" It has been over a month with excuses every week telling me why u couldnt get the tranny out. I told you earlier the only reason why I made the claim is b/c it was about to pass the 45 day mark and I needed documation, so I don't get screwed. I just want a damn tranny in my car, so I can sell it

I sent you the money, b/c thats the only way you would dropped the tranny. That makes no since for you not to wait until you recieved your money berfore dropping the tranny. Also you told me you could get me my tranny that weekend, but if not the next weekend. I only posted on these boards after you decided not to work this out with me through paypal. Yeah too bad you don't put the phone conversations up there, now that you put my phone number up here, your really starting to piss me off. You stayed patient to the day I had the tranny in the truck ready to go, and backed out. Now you made a issue with paypal you say I didn't answer your phone calls when I recall talking to you many times, do I need to go get my phone history to tell everyone the exact time we talked and for how long? Recently I haven't picked up an unknown number thats been coming in so if thats your call, thats your own fault.
