I didn't anticipate this being my first post on this forum, but I have first hand knowledge of both of these sellers so I thought I'd weigh in.

A few months ago I bought a '98 BEAMS w/33K from MR2 Warehouse and had Dave swap it in. Before I bought it, I drove out to his warehouse in PA to see the clip and make my final decision between a gen3 3sge and the BEAMS which I had originally thought was too much money. Since I've been dreaming about having a BEAMS for years I decided to go all out and do it. Dropped my car off the next week and got the car back like 2 weeks later. Dave did a good job on the swap and he also installed my tein flex coilovers which I bought off him as well. My last 3 times autoxing, I have a 2nd place and two 1st places in a row. The car is so much fun to drive. After I get a quick ratio steering pinion, it should be even better.

The only issues I have with Dave is that he didn't tell me prior to the swap that he needed to figure out how to get the tach and coolant gauges working with my '93 NA cluster. At the time I was in no rush to get the car back and would have gladly left the car their while he figured it out. Well, I took it home as is and still waiting on Dave to fix it for me. Some of it is my fault as I haven't really been calling him continuously to bother him about fixing it. All in all I'm quite satisfied with the swap and I trust Dave to do a good job. If Dave never comes through with a solution to my problem (he also put a BEAMS in his mom's car so he has a guinea pig to work on), that might change my opinion of how he deals with customers.

As for Keith and RPM garage, I've ordered several things from him off ebay, like a g-limited badge and speed flaps, and never had a problem. Response was good and items were shipped almost immediately.

Matt

sorry let me clarify i did not mean **** as in he was rude or impolite... but from the sense of his most of his prices are overinflated and all are "rare" just look at all of the add headings. now it does not affect me because i can still find all the parts that he sells somewhere else. but to the uneducated buyer they are gonna pay a premium price plus outrageous shipping to get the parts to the states.

yes i too would say he is a reliable seller... even if i have heard rumors of rolled odo's.... besides they are in fact just rumors.

gauges cluster is easy to do dude, check out WFX thread about the ST184 swap he has the wires listed for temp & RPM you need tach adapter from MSD

car coulda been totalled dude, you never know, i think your going overboard with the rebuild i doubt it needs it.
as for the middle man between you and keith, i think thats a real punk manouver...who knows, but supply & demand, dont you ever forget

from what i can tell from the BEAMS cluster, and i have had mine apart to figure out the wiring to it bc its diff from ST184 cluster....way different....i can tell you there is no way to "roll" it in order to make it less milage, it would show on the witness marks & it would probably not work anymore....
