Do not buy from Dawgpound

I paid him $140 over a month ago for the leather door panels he advertised and I have not received anything. I even sent him an additional $50 (like a fool) for shipping because he said that he spent all the money I gave him on personal matters. He did respond to my emails and phone calls in the beginning but now he refuses to communicate. In my last email I sent to him, I asked him to give me my money back and I would forget the whole thing. He has not responded. I have a Paypal claim against him but there is no guarantee that I will get any maney back. From now on, I will only purchase via Paypal IF the purchase is totally guaranteed by Paypal.

Sorry to hear about that. If you sent him the money and he spent it , that's his fault and you shouldn't need to send him more money. Why would someone spend money that was suppose to be for shipping something you sold. That's just stupidity on his part.

As part of a security measure, private messages from anyone in the banned seller's group go into a moderation queue so we will see them before they go to anyone. Whatever happened with your Paypal claim? Did you ever get a refund?

Paypal decided in my favor but I didn't receive any money back because Will McClurg (Dawgpound) doesn't have any money in his Paypal account. I'm not sure what happens if he tries to use Paypal in the future.

At this point the Paypal account he used before is probably frozen until the funds are available, so he'd have to pay the balance or create a new account.
