PAYPAL PROBLEM

well i got 2 sellers that havent sent me my items yet. one person is member from the board another is from mr2trader.

1. i paid this guy in dec 07 and i still havent received it. He said it got lost then when i ask for my money back, he was like it came back and i will ship it out monday morning its been 2 weeks still no item.

2. It's been 2 weeks he called me last week asking if i got them item i told him no. i called him back this week he wont answer my calls.

what should i do? should i start calling paypal and see if i can get my money back or talk to board about this guy

If its more than 30 days, i don't think paypal will do anything.

Best to talk to board admin about it. I'm sure they can help out.

thanks just called paypal they said he has 11 days to prove he sent the package out and must provide tracking number to them if not i will receive my money back.

Happen to me once on ebay. After paypal request a tracking number from the seller the next day it was ship and a few days later I got it. Things don't get lost. Its because the seller never sent it. (if it was really lost the seller would answer all email and phone call)

Man, I was about to say BS!

I have 1 out of 6 packages that get lost, or returned all the time. But yes, I do have good communication, and people know how to get a hold of me.

I bought a lsd from a guy a little while back and he didn't send it! I found his tel# from a different thread because he stopped answering my emails. He answered the phone and once he realized who i was he acted like we got disconnected and didn't answer the phone anymore! I filed a paypal dispute days before the dead line and after 2 weeks of them investigating they said that I won the case because the seller provided half a tracking number, but the seller had no money in his account so I got no refund. Then I made a thread about his poor service and I said that I would have my friend(a marine stationed a short distance from his house) pick it up and he could keep the give him the lsd and the $ for shipping face to face; then it turned around and he apologized and sent it out days later!

moral of the story, even if you win a paypal dispute you might not get your money back!!

Please PM or post the username on both the forums and MR2Trader. We manage both sites and will ban his account until this has been resolved. It would also be good for others to know who it is.

It's 45 days from the time payment was sent to file a claim with paypal.

When you order something and it dosent show up when it should: 1) Get a tracking number, you can track the shipment on the shippers web site. 2) Dont wait to dispute the charges, do it immediately, demand action.. 3) Notify your credit card company's fraud department in writing, I suggest faxing them with immediately the details, dont wait until they send you their form. 3) Never use Paypal - Here is what they sent me: We will make every effort to resolve this claim within 30 days although we
may require additional time to complete our investigation.

Our investigation will be made on a best-effort basis and PayPal cannot
guarantee funds recovery. For more information about how PayPal
investigates complaints, please review the User Agreement.

Paypal's protection is for your credit card number only, they are protecting your number not you. Based on my experience with Paypay I dont trust them one bit.. Google Paypay - type in Paypal Problems and take a look at all the web sites advising to avoid Paypal...

Even if Paypal find in your favor, they won't do anything if the other guy already took the money out of their account. That pretty much make their "protection" worthless when you're dealing with scammers.
