Beware of Nonstop Tuning

I am transplanting a JDM 4AGZE in my MKI MR2. I wanted to get the supercharger spinning a little faster so I visited Nonstop Tuning's web site and paid for bigger crank pully's and smaller idlers. Their web site said that the part was in stock. My card was charged but the parts never came. I have made several attempts to contact Nonstop Tuning by e-mail, they never replied. I was able to get their phone number but the line is dead. Beware, you wont get your parts, just a credit card bill. I have reported this to my credit card company's fraud department. The owner of Nonstop Tuning is listed as Mike Rahimi in Houston Texas. Their web site is NST - NonStopTuning

Looking at their web page, there is no certificates from Paypal, Verisign, BBB, ect. Looks like the thing is a scam. Wondering if Paypal would do anything since when you "add to cart" it goes to Paypal...

Well since you asked.... I contacted Paypal and made a claim. Here is what they e-mailed me:
We will make every effort to resolve this claim within 30 days although we
may require additional time to complete our investigation.

Our investigation will be made on a best-effort basis and PayPal cannot
guarantee funds recovery. For more information about how PayPal
investigates complaints, please review the User Agreement.

Sincerely,

PayPal

WOW! They may take more than 30 days and they cannot guarantee funds recovery? I thought this was one of the main reasons to use Paypal.. Wen I called Paypal and made the complaint they would not give me any information about Nonstop Tuning - not even a phone number.. Is Paypal facilitating crooks? It has been 6 days since I made the complaint to Paypal and someone can still buy a part from Nonstop Tuning through Paypal - and Paypal knows they are crooks but they will still take your money.. Oh and by the way "PayPal cannot guarantee funds recovery"!!!!

Got part

I finally got my part from NST. I also read their thread about improving their customer service in 08.. Well this is 08 - never received a response from them. At least i got my part. They look like they are good quailty.. I havent fired up the beast yet so I cant comment on how well they work.

I'm running their kit on my S/C and just contacted them about the upgraded design idler pulley after I've been through one of theirs and one factory version. The new one seems to be much better quality and I only had a little trouble contacting them through their AIM customer service. My part was mailed quickly, in fact the same week I ordered it. I think the key is to catch them through AIM, otherwise they seem tough to get ahold of.
