Yet another thread for Aaron with lithia!
Just wanted to say that I recently ordered a clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing and oil seals from them.
Aaron was very easy to work with and was always willing to take a phone call from me. (i called a few times lol as I was in a hurry to get my parts.) when the box arrived it was like christmas... nothing better then opening toyota boxes. see pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() In closing aaron is a great guy and I highly recommend anyone looking for OEM parts go to him. |

Thanks man! I am always happy to help out an MR2 owner - and so is Tracy, for that matter. This is a super cool crowd to work with.
Someday I am going to print this out and take it to the general manager, see if he can get me some perks - you know, health insurance, corporate jet, etc. I'll let you know how that goes! ![]() |

lolol just take him the receipt for the AW11 cooling system order I will be placing in a few months lol. I will literally be order everything that I can get still to replace it all, probably even the metal piping if i can still get that I fully expect to drop around 1k lol since I already have most of it priced out at just under 800 without shipping.
Crzy yes... but I love my 2... and i live in az... and its 20+ years old. |

I know that you can still get the hard cooling lines(tubes) from toyota I think that they told me they were about 150 or something like that I live in ohio I dont think that that makes a difference though.... I you can not get them from these guys that you are going through right now...... ( not trying to undercut these guys I might need parts from them in the future.....)

All hoses, pipes, etc to redo coolant system including rad That was six months ago, and there were no hard lines in the country at that time, so the odds are that there are none at this time either. They may be available from Japan, or the supply may have dried up. If you decide to try and order them, it might make sense for you to buy them from your local dealer, even if you pay full price, because these are bulky and awkward (read "expensive") to ship. That's OK. It's not undercutting us in any way - if buying from us is not practical or cost effective, I always try to turn people toward the most efficient way to get what they want. There is something else you should know though. If your local dealer told you $150, either they are guessing outright, or they misunderstood you and quoted out the wrong part. Both situations happen from time to time. Either way, $150 won't buy those pipes brand new from a Toyota dealership. Toyota's suggested list price is $669.19! |

Just an update, installed new clutch, etc this past weekend cars shifts great again. Thanks a bunch Aaron.
also just wanted to say that I also highly recommend using redline mt-90 in your trans, while I am not certain the clutch fix didn't resolve 100% my shifting issues, this car shifts better then it ever has in the 4 years I have owned it. The shifts are smooth no longer do I feel a grind when going from gear to gear. I didn't have a camera handy but when I took out the clutch one of the black (springs?) fell out of its socket, turns out the whole thing was falling apart, explains alot of my probs.... |

You're very welcome! I'm glad it's working better. My transmission is also pretty clunky these days. If I ever get the new transmission prepped and installed I'll have to try MT-90 again. I've used it, but not for many years.
