This sounds like a 1.5 i think.

This car is a little demon, I have been trying to gather more info on it but i dont speak japanese so its been rough. I would like to find out if hes running a 3SGTE or a turbo AGZE., At any rate MK1 owners should all love this car that thing is scary fast.

I am familiar with the HKS twicharge kit..... I have seen it before, my question is is it the HKS one that was made for the MK1 or is it custom made?
Im sure no one can just guesstimate that but i was thinking maybe another member had more info on that car.

Here is one of the twincharged setups known to man, This site shows 8 in total that are documented. Im trying to find out what exactly you would need to twincharge the 4AGZE besides the obvious I.E supercharger ..turbo...IC...EMS, So far it seems like you just have to figure out how to get the ECU to switch from SC12 to the turbo. I am interested in figuring out how much this would cost, I do know that it is possible to custom make one and i have emailed a guy in the UK who was custom making one for more info....However the email addy is on a page that was last updated in like 1999 so im not sure if i can actually touch basis with him or not.Heres the link to this site im sure most of you have seen it but meh see it again http://www.mr2supercharger.com/Newpages.html
Heres a pic of the HKS twincharge kit

do a little research on the nissan superturbo. i dont know that much about them but they just use a simple valve(i think). Bee-Racing have a 200sx s15 that is twin charged - from the article

"So how does it work you may wonder? well it's all very simple. The turbo does its job and the blower, running off a custom pulley and bracket mount, does the same. There is no complicated piping or valve involved, the two simply coexist with the TD06 blower through the ORC TX12 supercharger and into the plenum."

looking at the pics the supercharger sits where the plenum normally is and the plenum sits on the engine side of the supercharger. it looks very simple and clean. the car is "only" running 400 odd ps and the intercooler is after the turbo and before the supercharger. the mag said they might sell it as a kit so have a look on their site as they might have what is involved in such a project or you might be able to e-mail them for pointers

Heres a little info from howstuffworks.com Best of Both Worlds
Volkswagen has recently released a "Twincharger" engine on a Golf GT. The Twincharger comes with both a supercharger and a turbocharger. At low engine RPM, the supercharger blasts air into the cylinders to enhance low-end torque. At high RPM, when exhaust gases have been produced in sufficient quantity, the turbocharger kicks in to increase top-end performance. The GT, which is available only in Europe, hits 62 miles per hour in 7.9 seconds. It can also reach 136 miles per hour while still delivering 39 miles per gallon.

Pretty sure it would just be compounding the boost. No valve needed like a sequetial twin turbo set up.

I stand corrected. Seems that the most common way to do it is as described with a valve to switch from supercharger to turbo and a clutch to disengage the supercharger. But it could be done either way. I think compounding would be much simpler.

I think if you could run one really good A2W IC just after the Supercharger, it would be fine.

I'd like the link. Thanks.
