inner cv joint agze

does anyone know a source for the inner cv joint for an 88 supercharged mk1? they seem to be rare. Can it be rebuilt?

During 19 years of racing I've had my axles rebuilt alot.

You think the cv is hard to find try rebuilding the close ratio trans. The parts cost $400 the first time (1991), $1200 the 2nd time.

Then I installed the N/A trans, this cost $250 to rebuild.

In all the years of racing MR2's Drag and Road Course I have never replace a AXLE.
