Hey Frogger,

Nice diagram, are these buy-able?

Actually, I'm trying to help a customer. I sold a OEM Mark1 gas tank and the customer has a wiring question wondering why his 3 wire unit does not match the 2 wire unit I sent him.

From what he sez the wires are from the gas gauge sending unit (not the pump). The wiring diagram you sent along does not include gas tank info. It's good reference tho

All my reference material sez yellow/red (hot) and brown ground wires?

I'm Confused?

Thanks now for any help later,

mr2tim

OK .....?

Let's change the question...

Do any of you 85-86 owners have a orange gas tank reseviour light, which lights when the tank goes dry? (I've 2-87, 1-88,1-89) Help me out here!!

If you 85-86 guys don't have a light, this could be the answer? (2 wire?)
Huh,
Maybe..perhaps..
