supercharger not engaging

i have an 88 mr2 supercharged auto transmission and i just recently replaced the motor with an jdm one i got the car runing now but the first day i had it running it ran fine supercharger was kicking on and everything was cool but 2 days later the check engine light came on and ever since the supercharger does not engaged the # of flashes i get on the dash is 4? and the only thing i didnt swicht over from the usdm motor was the egr stuff because my usdm exhaust man was cracked i also installed nst pulley kit and have done the abv mod any help please!!!!
