fitment question
i have an 86 n/a...the motor just blew at 142k...im picking up an the 4AGE out of and 88 corolla...i was wondering if the rods and pistons out of a
4AGZE will fit in that motor...i am planning on turbocharging it and that seems like fairly reliable way to boost the motor without snapping a rod...i have heard of people of reliably running 14psi on the sc's without swapping internals. |

I forgot all the specs and where they are located on the net. Maybe someone else will chime in with more specifics.
However 4age engines had two different sized rod ends and main bearing sizes due to a heavier crankshaft and rods being put in the newer 4age's. So gut swaps between older and newer 4ages don't work. I'm not sure if the SC version is compatible with the later 4age's, but I think it is. |
