Messages on parts-traintech & mriokrt

traintech86--

The engine has maybe 110,000 was reconditioned at 90K w new timing belt, water pump and painted bright red.. It came out of my wife's 87 last October 08, set in my own shipping crate and covered from the elements since then. Looks sharp! Looks new!

mriokrt87--

Yes [i] have complete right right rear fender for $110, no rust last I checked. Sure could make available the inner parts when I cut the fender loose for you. Pictures available.

I'm looking for an ACV (Air Control Valve). I've read of the mod to eliminate this but this is my first 4AGZE... it's a JDM... I'm putting it in an NA... and I'm using parts from a domestic 4AGZE to make it all work. I want to make it as close to the BGB as I can right now. Also, I need a knock sensor if you've got one. Any help would be appreciated...

Well, yes and no?

Yes, I believe I have the Air Control Valve which I only know as the (T-Vis) Toyota-Varible Intake System? it's the butterflies in the N/A intake system?

I'm kinda vague on whether you need the butterflies, the actuator or the VSV, nonetheless I have 'em.

Sorry on the Knock Sensor, no have got.., mon senior.

Sounds like you've got a real adventure there, your pulling the JDM 4a-gze and going with a N/A 4a-ge?

Gotta be kinda cool with these JDM vs American OEM stuff swaps, I've heard lots of Urban Legend stories of what fits and what does not.

I'm sending a T-vis photo so we can talk better about what parts you do and do not need ok? Pm me iffin' you want.

Hey Tim... The BGB refers to it as an Air Control Valve. It sits on top of the supercharger, is reddish brown, has three vacuum/pressure tubes coming out of it and a wire connector. Thanks in advance for your help....

Bak assward Japanese engineering

Hey Rob,

Don't feel bad, my poorly enginnered part broke in the exact same place, sometimes I'm sure this is why these guys lost Worl War ll. Know what I mean?

These kind of 20 yr old parts are impossible to find used.

I'm attaching a Camry ACV picture of a substitute which costs virtually nothing, which I have adapted to work on our cars. It's just a common switch.

Feel free to PM me reguarding any installation help you may need.

For God's sake don't think you have to go to a dealer, there are alternatives for those who dare to DIY.

Lower control arms

These are clean with no rust, I'd be glad to paint 'em chrome, black, orange, yellow or white iffin' you want as I always like to ship clean parts you can bolt right on without processing.

Here's the pics.

Sorry you're not closer to South Florida for the engine, It's got about 90K with all new belts, water pump etc. I was in the process of making a drag car when some ass from Saudi Arabia rearended me at a stop light. The immigrant situation here in South Florida is waaayy out of control.

BTW I may be way out of line here, but why not go to the Internet and pickup a fresh pair of ball joints to make these like brand spanking new? I saw some very reasonably priced offerings last week when I was looking for a power window motor gear. Just a suggestion.

Any Toyota would do really.

Attached is a picture of the one the Toyota Techs installed as a "Dealer Option" (read overpriced aftermarket). I suspect these are pretty much generic type stalks, not really specific to any Toyota branding.

Motor mount

The motor rebuilding fairy mentioned only 3 mounts are in?, are you set with all the pieces for that 200HP+ shiney new road rocket?

I did the polyeurethane DYI replacement excercise on my forward and rear mounts. Man it was hillarious, one of my makeshift casting setups developed a leak. So, I kept scooping up the leakage and pouring it back in until it solidified. LOL.! The resulting mess left a few tools and parts stuck to the bench, at odd angles. They are still there as art objects.

I'm glad someone else is doing it, besides me.

TY-Engine

First off my listing it at $500.

Since you live on the East Coast truck shipping might be somewhat smooth.

I'd ask that YOU contact shippers in your area that service Ft Lauderdale- Miami find a quote you can deal with and let me know who they are.

I would contact them to find out where I have to lug this engine off to for pickup down here.
(Shippers don't deliver these big heavy parts to your house as a rule.)

Sounds easy huh? I've crated the engine up already, it's ready to go!

Engine was owned by college co-ed, then my wife. Never raced!

Tim

Inner fenders NOT sold

Good evening, Tim:

Thank you for your time and talent. I got the pictures. Unfortunately this is not the parts that I need. Its really the outer quarter panels that I need. If you know any one in that has some rust free ones I am in the marketl
