4agze issues!!!
okay i have a few vacuum hose issues and some other things and here they are:
first where do these vacuum hoses go i have no idea and i need to know PS these are by the fuel rail. ![]() next are all these hoses where do they all go? ![]() okay now where on those hoese do i put a mechanical boost gauge into? now this bracket is off of the firewall between the driver and the engine bay. i need to know where these hoses go? i do not have cruise control or ac any more. if that helps. ![]() okay finally i need some ideas for how to make a hood scoop... before u jump to conclusion this is what i got going on. i have taken a engine lid and cut a 10" diameter hole and put a push 10" spal fan in the hole pointing out of the engine bay. for the obvious reason of cooling the hole thing now all i need is to build a scoop or put a scoop on top of it any ideas? key part will be dealing with the kink in the hood... yes the whole goes over that kink so here is pic of the set up now any ideas for hood scoop about 2-3" tall and 12-14" wide and mabey 14-16" long? ![]() Last but not least the throttle cable problem... the bracket that holds the throttle cable is to short it doest hold the cable tight any ideas? Thanks for all the help and my thought is if i get al this info i need ill be running by febuary. |

why do you have an NA engine lid ? how is your intercooler getting any airflow ?
and you say that's a "push" fan, so its trying to force air down into the engine bay ? why would you do that ? air comes up and out the engine lid this is confusing |

okay they fan is a push but it is pushing up... basically a push and pull is dependent on which way you point it. and my intercooler is right under that fan i have a 4agze from a 1994 levin gtz so the difference is a little more power coilpacks and some other little changes.

That makes alot more sense
There is a really useful aw11 page here: Modsindexso you could do something like this: ![]() or you want to fabricate your own ? just make sure you don't do this: ![]() |

I'd recommend something facing the rear of the vehicle, like the first picture Angus posted. If you have it face towards the front it will most likely get air pushing down into it as you're driving, and defeats the entire idea of cooling the engine.
Another idea for the intercooler is to custom making fittings to mount it where the stock muffler would be (this would obviously require you to also have an aftermarket, custom exhaust. This is similar to how the MK3 turbo kit has it's intercooler mounted. I've also seen it put into the trunk area, which I'm not so sure about since it wouldn't have any air flow without further modification. As for the your vacuum lines. Quote:

the scoop above works but i have absolutly no skills with a welder so i think fabrication is out of the question idk i might find a friend who knows how to do it.
