aftermarket s/c

i want to turn my 89 n/a in to a s/c...i know that the s/c engines have different internals..so i know about all that stuff...but what i am curious about is if there is some one out there who makes a s/c for the 4age/gze (other then toyota)...or on the other hand...a turbo manifold...i would rather have a s/c but turbo aint so bad...so please if you have ever heard of a different s/c let me know....

thanks...

I know speed source makes a turbo manifold Speed - Source - Design. Fabricate. Produce. Install. Maintain.

As for the supercharger i wouldn't know, you could just pick up a used one and run a new pulley though

Sticking with a 4agze setup is about 100 times easier that fabbing from almost scratch a 6 PSI boost setup either SC, or Turbo to go on a 4age. The boost limitation is due to weaker internals and higher compression ratios of the 4age.

On a different track I have lots of parts to convert your 4a N/A to a S/C car, intake maniold, throttle/Tps, GZE throttle cable assembly, new double headed distributor, of course you'll need to relocate the alternator and change the harness, move the starter to the other side and change it's harness as well, of course you'll need that S/C ECU and the Supercharger itself and it's mounts, did I mention you-re old a/C compressor wouldn't work? BTW the S/C instrument panel should be changed too?

Oh well, maybe a S/C conversion isn't that easy huh?

i dont know if this helps but ebay sells turbo manifolds. i personally have bought quite a few turbo manifolds on ebay ( not any mr2s tho ) and despite their bad rep only had a problem with one and the seller was happy to exchange for a good one.

and a cast one here at
TOYOTA COROLLA 4AGE T25 TURBO CAST IRON MANIFOLD AE86:eBay Motors (item 140325110028 end time Jun-11-09 19:05:48 PDT)
should fit even tho its for fwd and wow funny how the cast one is cheaper think i gonna order one now lol. also as said before i would look at upgrading your motor before considering buying turbo/sc you will be happer in the end.

If you go turbo you will need injectors as well, and a rising rate fuel pressure regulator with some way to control the fuel.
