get the BGB

I recently saw a link to download the entire 1000 page Big Green Book factory service manual SOMEWHERE in this forum website. Its free by the way.

Do a search for BGB download and you'll probably find it.

You need this book.

Instead of checking the resistance values, you may get more accurate diagnostics checking voltages. It is in the "Vehicle Specifications" section of the BGB which is one of the last sections of the book.

If you mean the small screw with a allen wrench opening, secured by an 8mm nut, . . . . the throttle stop screw should be adjusted so that the throttle plate inside the TB is fully, securely CLOSED.

I used to live in Richardson. So, I can relate to living in Dallas, a little bit.

Thanks, I read in the bgb that it needs to be at 6 degrees. I finally have everything set, just waiting for a fpr, and resistor pack, not that I need the pack, but for 10 bucks I couldn't pass up having an extra one!

I think "resistor pack" means "fuel injector solenoid resistor".
