You'll have to be more specific.
If the question is "How do I record video of my PC gameplay and then show it off on the internet?" then the answer is very simple: Fraps. If the question is "How do I record video of my Console gameplay and then show it off on the internet?" then the answer is: You most likely can't. Consoles typically record in some proprietary format which you would have to know and write a conversion for to some PC format. Then you would have to be allowed to pull the data form the console to the PC. I think this is doable on an original XBox and possibly PS2, but AFAIK no one has yet written a recrypter for 360. PS: This is why Im only posting screenies and not video. The minute you find out how to pull replays off a 360 and convert them to a PC format let me know cuz Ill start pumping out drifting videos. |

Get a tv tuner card with AV inputs. Then use any video capture program.

Dazzle Video Creator Plus makes DVD burning and DVD recording simple and easy my room mate uses this and i think he has a spliter to split the cables going to the tv. so the ps3 still plus into the tv and the signal is just duped. he then sends the dupped signal to the pc. |

The latency issue is NOT that bad, even for my computer (P4, 3gb Ram, 512 MB AGP video card) Anything even remotely better would have virtually no latency, especially if you got a PCI express TV tuner card (Not sure if those exist).

i am sure they have the pci-e ones. as for the lag, it all depends on the game. not a chance in hell would i play any FPS/RTS or any game where time plays a factor. if you're doing machinima or something then its no big deal. i am sure if you set it up with spliters you could use the desktop to capture and also play on your tv lag free!

You could buy a VGA cable (M-to-M) run it from your comp to your TV and then duplicate the screens where you could still play on your TV....but it'd still show on your monitor. I do it for movies.
