The standings won't mean anything until after the first race. Ya, the devloper clearly cared more about the underlying workings than how it looks. The surface is kind of a disaster.

I love how we're all talking ****. I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. I'm going to get nice and drunk before every race. It makes talking **** more fun.

Maybe we've been going about this the wrong way Ken.... perhaps the Toyota powered cars should have a private discussion....

One more question... when determining when you pit on the actual raceday, how do you select which tires to apply and how much fuel to add, etc, etc? Do you have to determine that on raceday?

you don't need to be online, this is a "set it and forget it" game. might want to be good and drunk when scrolling through the race "replay" though to leave nice drunk comments |

it progresses through your tire sets in order, so if you start on set 1.2 (softs) and do 2 stops, you'll pick up set 1.3 on the first stop and set 2.1 (hards) on the 3rd stop. Unlike real F1, you aren't forced to run 1 of each set though fwiw |

So my tire choices in qualifying and practice could screw up my tires on race day? Damn...

Just so you know, the driver characteristics you choose can impact how high you can set different sliders. It's worth researching.

Where can I find info on them? I browsed the forums and the help sections but didn't find a whole lot about characteristics.

Yeah, I read that thread. I wish there was something more in depth.
