Enjoy your fail turismo 5.

I still think it'll be all dressed up (as in, look ****ing gorgeous) but I really do think that Forza is taking more steps in the correct direction.

its already been confirmed many times. what your talking about is Sony 2 years ago. games are coming out on its release dates now. the games people have thought were delayed never even released a official release date so they were never considered delayed. anyways, GT5 feels and looks more realistic than Forza. Forzas physics are weak and the graphics are way too over saturated

GT5 wasnt even announced for PS3 until a few months after release. its funny how the only thing that people rip about GT5 is its release date. yet when games are delayed, people dont see that games are more polished and better because of the time that was worked on it. wait til december, then well see which is better

i take it you don't remember GT4? It was released over a year after its original release date (I would know because i pre-ordered it). They were allegedly working on the "Online gameplay", which it ended up not having at all...

I am sure GT5 will be good and stuff, I guess it will have F1 which is cool and NASCAR, but I don't feel like getting teased and disappointed again

I guess i hold grudges

I don't know. I would rather wait 5 years for a game to come out and have it be spectacular than get a new ****ty one every other year.

im with this guy. except for the ****ty part. Forza games are good, its just that I prefer the Gran Turismo series. 1000+ cars, 60 tracks, insane car physics. im pretty much sold. anyways, ill wait as long as i can for a game to be released.

Killzone 2 was announced before the PS3 launched and the game came out last year. sure it was late but it gave Guerilla more time to polish the game and it turned out to be one of the best FPS games out there.

Once you make the game, theres no turning back on your mistakes. small bugs can be fixed with patches but other big mistakes cant. longer you wait, the better the game. GT4 was last gen, time to move on

Kill zone 2 is amazing. I play almost everyday online. Except I don't do the actual story mode. I only play online. And imo, Forza's selection is sub-par. They have the same amount of tracks and cars as GT4.

my PS3 is broken atm. planning to get the new slim thats out, but until then my games are out of commission. Forza has a bad ass paint editor, you can basically create anything with that paint editor.

GT5 will not (as far as I know) allow cars to roll, or incorporate accurate tire physics (IE: Live for Speed style, sidewall flex, debris, etc) and the lack of those two things means that any physics engine they have will not be as realistic as it could be.

Forza WILL incorporate these features, which I believe will pretty much make its physics engine similar/identical to Live For Speed's, which is BY FAR the best I've ever played.

I might be wrong, and I won't know until the game comes out, but we'll see.

my advice is do what i did in Forza 2. make your MR2 the way it is now. and drive it. if it feels the same in the game as in real life then what more do you need. now with forza3 and the Xbox360 Force feedback wheel no doubt i will feel more realistic than any game ever.
(so if you dont know how to drive dont get the game you will be upset)

i just played Forza 2 the other day. the models look great but the tracks are very boring to look at.

need better lighting on the cars for realism.

i hope it looks better in Forza 3. im gonna wait and play the demo first. because i got bored of Forza when i got to Level 35

idk man, i played live for speed and i found that all of the cars, even the FWD drifted/ oversteered way too much. i even tried barely pressing the brakes and slowly turn in and still oversteered. how do you know that GT5 will not incorporate those physics, wheres your source.

bro, have u tried the Logitech G25 wheel or the Fanatec 911 wheel? those two are by far the best wheels out ATM, each one has a 6 spd manual and clutch with force feedback

I don't have a source, it's simply speculation... but I'm pretty sure I'm right. It's not like I'm writing a research paper or anything. I don't really need to cite my sources on the video game forums.

I have seen videos of cars rolling in Forza 3, and have not seen anything of the sort from footage of GT5. That, and they're not talking about their tire physics engine where as the Forza 3 developers are.

Additionally, I played Prolouge on my friend's PS3, and while it was better than GT4, I didn't think the physics were all that great.

As for your comment about Live for Speed tending to oversteer too much, that's not true... you're simply driving incorrectly.
