Alright guys

Due to a large response to my other thread I decided to make this one. I am willing to listen to what you guys have to say. Above all I do want my car to run, so what would you do, were you me?

First of all we need to know what you've tried, and what all exactly is happening. If you're getting fuel, spark, and compression you should run. Test those 3 and go from there?

If your compression/leakdown is good, chances are it's some sort of electrical problem. I would double and triple check ALL your wiring if that's the case. If all that checks out 100%, then we go from there lol. Let us know WTF you've done so far

Ok, heh. I'll list what I know:
It has run, so at that point it was getting fuel, spark and air. I haven't ruled out anything yet, but I dont' believe the problem to be in wiring since I have not altered the harness from the ecu to the engine, the only wires I spliced were to the front for lights, blinkers, power, etc (all of which work). When it did run It seemed to be quite rich. I recently got a ride in a friend's car that blew half the ignition control module (or one of the 2 circuits, only 2 cylindars were firing) while we were running at well above the speed limit. If you know what that is like, that is pretty much exacly how my car was running, but it is using a distributor so idk. I have only replaced the O2 sensor, which did improve the way it ran quite a bit. Intake is not obstructed, turbo spools fine. While I was testing the MAP sensor, 2 of the back probes touched and fried my ECU (there is a thread about it somewhere here, can't find it). I replaced the ecu, and it ran for about a minute and a half then seemed to flood and died. I have not been able to re-start it since. The fuel relays get very hot when it is running. It has a walbro 255 pump, but the pressure in the fuel system I think is 40psi (does that sound right? I don't remember entirely). Compression tests were 160 160 158 160. It used to die while I was driving it on the first ecu, and would not start unless I let it sit for about 10-15 min. if it was trying to die I could keep it running by un-plugging the fuel pump, then plugging it back in multiple times, quickly. ( very rich) I was shooting flames out the tail pipe when was decelerating or shifting. Basically I don't think it was running on all cylindars. All the spark plugs were dark brown iirc, it's been a while. It didn't have much power, I'll see if I can find a video.

just after about 1 min of warm-up. boost is at 8psi, creeping up to 10psi according to the gauge. (safety mode or w/e). it never goes higher than 11psi, even when warm.

here is a rev, when it's warm. It wants to die it seems:

I know you probably already checked it but mine sounded very similar to that when I was adjusting my ignition timing and accidently bumped it all way to one side.

What does that have to do with your spark plugs?

Oh sorry about that it just confused me. Lol All the 3SGTE's should be ok with the same plugs. I go pick mine up at the parts store no problem. If your stock just go pick up some ones for a 91-95 MR2 turbo. I have NGK BKR7E's cause they're a little colder than stock and I got my boost up. Also try cleaning your distributer cap and rotor young. That did a lot for mine, it was having this random miss every now and then at one time and that fixed it. Try adjusting your ignition timing too.

I like how everyone attacks me and tells me I'm doing everything wrong when I suggest something, then when I ask their opinion it gets silent.

mrtuned so is it not running now? or dose it die after a while of driving? i saw the video of what it dose when warm, i also had a close to same problem. what dose your fuel pressure look like when it runs like that @ full WOT? also another thing, try when it warms and acts like it dose rev it while spraying starter fluid in the throttle body and see what it dose. what im getting at here, believe it or not, when i was going thorough the same prob my car was running rich black smoke reving the same etc. i sprayed starter fluid and vrrooomm! to my suprise!! long story short, i pulled the tank checked the pump and that lil hose that came with the kit(255walbro) had swelled double its size and caused the pump to barley hang on to the pump its self. so give those few things a shot and see what happens, hope it helps. and sorry for the work ahead(pain in the @SS to get that tank out with the engine in. lol so much easyer with it out when i did the swap.) good luck!
