85 mkI starting issues

I just bought an 85 MR2 and this car is a lot of fun. However, I have an intermintent starting problem with it. Sometimes it starts and when it runs it runs great. I'll shut it off, then when I try to restart it, all it does is turn over. When it won't start, I've checked the plug wires for spark and there is nothing. I'm getting power to the coil and I think my ignitor coil could be bad. The 2 wires from my ignitor coil to the distributor are not showing any power when the key is on. I've checked all my connections for shorts or wear and they seem ok. Weird thing is that after it has set for a while, or if I move the wires a little, it will start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
