starter

Just bought 87 mk1 and I need to change the wire that go to the starter. Does anyone know if this is just a plug and play thing or do I have to come up with an invention?

Not familiar with the AW11, but this might help.

I just replaced the positive battery cable on my 86 and it bolts on and the little wire on the starter pugs in. Very tight space. I had to drop the exhaust to do it.
