My Google Map

New Exhaust Header

So I need a new exhaust header because I snapped one of the bolts off of the old one and the other two aren't looking very promising.
I have found two places that sell them, one seems to be an OEM replacement, the other is a TRD replacement.

Conicelli Parts Center

TRD Racing Development - trd, trd parts, racing, performance, toyota

I'm not even sure if i'm able to order the one from TRD racing. Assuming that I can would the extra $100 that I would have to spend be worth it.

I think that's all. Thanks for any help.

i would go with the trd but if your concerned with emisions and all that i would just go with the oem, i think on the offical trd website Toyota Racing Development ...think but i cant find it now, it states that the trd headers were not street legal

87 SC Header

To comfirm this, i sent an email to TRD and got a very speedy responce eletting me know that it is in fact discont. and not in stock.

So... since I need to replace my header, and am not keen about going stock oem....Does anyone have a source for an exhaust header for my car? do I go to the local speed shop and have a custome one made? ....i wonder what this should cost.

Any help would be great.

Here are the 2 I know of and of good quality.
Headers for Toyota, Suzuki, Honda, VW, exhaust parts for home built do it yourself automotive, marine headers.

What would be the price on the header on the second link? (700 maybe?)

And has anybody actually have any experience with the header on the first link?

The Stans header is a blatant copy of the TRD, not sure on quality though.
