I've also seen the cables get stuck in the sleeves from simple corrosion.

is there a way to take the sleeves off and see? or should i just remove the cables all together since they arent doing me any good anyway..

The quick easy way to check is to disconnect them from the brake calipers and then from the e-brake connecter near the handle. Then all you have to do is move the cable by hand, if it's smooth back and forth no catching & you see no fraying at the ends it should be good. Andrew |
