Post Lexus/Toyota Rear Inner Tie-Rod Bushings

Hi,

I am not sure if anyone has posted this information yet concerning the rear inner Tie-Rod Bushings on a 1989 MR2.
I searched everywhere for a replacement set of bushings for my rear inner tie-rod ends. These are the bushings that are pressed into the toe adjusting rods on the rear end of my MR2.
The 89 MR2 Prothane Kit supplies every bushing except this particular inner toe adjustment bushing set. Prothane says that their bushing kit is the entire set for the MR2, but this is incorrect.
You can buy the inner tie-rod end with the bushing installed from Toyota for $86.00 each. This is part #48730A.
Now like I mentioned above, I searched everywhere for the Toyota MR2 replacement bushings with no luck at all. I decided to start researching this part #48730A more in depth and found by accident that the same exact part# was listed for a TOYOTA LEXUS LS400 UCF10 inner tie-rod and bushing from the Lexus manufacter. Once I found this information, I began hitting the same suspension parts sites have already I been to and found that they did list a replacement bushing with the sleeve insert for the Lexus, as part #SPF3017K. To verify myself that these bushing on the Lexus were the same as the MR2's and would fit correctly, I contacted...

...and they said,"The part number you provided us, SPF3017K does seem to correspond to both vehicles and would work. $68.00"

TEIN also said, "it would take 6-8 weeks to receive this part from Australia or expedited at an additional cost which would ship to my address within 10 to 14 business days".

This was too long to wait since I needed these parts to have my car aligned asap. I started to search for another distributor for the Lexus part #SPF3017K and found one that would ship to me within a week, plus at a great price and in polyurethane.
