Fan Continues to Run

I have a 87 MR2. The fan by the radiator continues to run...is that normal? I have taken it to Toyota, but they do seem to be able to find a problem. Please help ! Thanks!

There is a temp sensor on the radiator that gives up. The sponsors on the board sell them cheap Aaron at Lithia toyota is the one on here to look up in the sponsers section. Depends where you live though, no help where I live on the other side of the world.

It won't harm your engine it is just annoying.

It is located on the rearside of the radiator in the pic I attached. You can sorta see it above the radiator hose. Mine is unplugged so they run all the time because it played up in traffic and overheated the car so I just unplugged it and never got around to replacing it since I never had problems since.
