wheres a safe place in SoCal to buy a silvertop 4age?

looking to buy one for my new aw11, i saw it for 850 on one site but id rather pick it up myself then ship it
also does anyone know if theres a 6 speed mates up to the silvertop?

Makoto auto parts is consistently the cheapest on Ebay. $365 for a silvertop, and $550 for a blacktop.

More important than the reputation of the importer is the actual condition of the motor you'll be getting. If the motor is clean internally, it really doesn't matter where you get it. I generally try to buy locally to avoid paying shipping.

The blacktop's 6speed will work with the silvertop. The celica GTS's 6speed can be made to work.

There is a person currently looking to sell a silvertop that is advertising on this forum. I believe he is looking for $500 and lives in the LA area. 4AGE SILVERTOP
