I guess the 12mm bolt I removed (5-6" to the right of the fill hole) was...... I don't know.
I was only looking at thumbnail images in the "how to" I was looking at on my iPhone, and I thought the arrow was pointing to the 12mm bolt. After a long, undisclosed, time trying to figure out why I couldn't get the gear oil in, and trying all sorts of idiotic remedies, I decided to submit for help on this forum.

Well I typed a three or four paragraph post, again on the iPhone, and just my luck: I accidentally push "select all" and then the delete button. The iPhone keypad has no crtl-z feature to save people like me from themselves. Anyway, obvously I'm incredibly frustrated at this point so I go inside to use a real computer. While I'm at that forum post again I decide to take another look at the "how to" and in the process discover the full resolusion images with the arrow pointing to the 24mm bolt.

At that point I figure, "nice Michael. Well at least I can get this finished up in a few minutes". That plan might suceeded had I not chopped the bottom off of my gear lube bottle to make a funnel. I could have just gotten under the car and filled it with the bottle. The hose I was using was pretty small so I couldn't get any decent flow through it - even when I pressurized it. I chopped the bottle into a funnel because I figured there was no place for the displaced air in the tranny to escape, remeber I'm working with the 12mm plug at this point. Well I gave up. I'm going to buy a new bottle of gear dope today to finish today a job that I wasted 3 hours plus on yesterday in ten minutes. To close this idiotic story I'd like to submit that I have four herniated disc is my lower lumbar, and that today I am hardly capable of moving around. Such is life.

With 3.0 or 3.1 itunes, you can shake and hit redo typing. I'm not sure if it would work on something like that but I dont see why not.

Ooops..... I replaced the plug when I gave up on putting oil in it.

espguitarist33: I think it was 80-90. The transmission feels much better since the change. Shifting is much smoother and most of the noise it was making before is now inaudible.

MR3: Thanks for the advice - I'll try that some time.]
