so i feel realy worried about the rain man i hate rain but i live in cali so it hardley ever rainswell when i wash my car my battery and anything next to it gets wet is that normal .on one side of the$ trumk lid over the radiator cap there is a little runnoff thing were water dosnt go throgh and the water jus runs on the side of the engine bay is the other side supppose to have the same
i know prety stupid question any help would be appreciated |

fuse box should have a cover and it doesn't get drenched.
fuse boxes 1.engine bay 2.cab under dash on the drivers side 3.frunk passenger side and there is a fuse block behind the passenger side kick panel. if you need pics i'll try to get you some. Last edited by muffinman; 09-17-2009 at 10:34 AM. |

The really stupid thing Toyota Enginners did was to put the MAIN electrical negative assembly point next to the Fuse Box you indicated gets drenched everytime it rains. The battery negative terminal bolts to the chassis underneath this point. Dahh...
Stupid is as stupid does. My next bitch is to look down the engine cover vent hole on the pass side. Who in they're right freakin mind would put a drain hole DIRECTLY over the alternator.?? Then the headlight electrical engineering?? Master electrical switch?? Don't get me started...... |
