Dash lights/Head lights problem

Ok i got a 85 Mr2 140k miles, it has one problem and that is that the Dash and Headlights somtimes while driving just go off and i got a buzzing sound coming from my dash area so i smack the dash and it turns both back on.. lol its kinda funny but its annoying and i'd like to fix it does anyone have any idea why its doing that? I dont know were to look and even if i did id probably think everything looks good lol

Loosen the dash pods and take the headlight switch out, spray the hell out of it with electrical contact spray. Check male electrical connector. Reinstall. Pray to the Electrical Gods.

I didn't see anything special in the answers there that hasn't been said a million times here also.

Try doing a search for HEADLIGHT SWITCH REPAIR here and see what you get.
