first, look into getting it repaired. if its not to big a dent, then there is no need scraping the whole fender. if it does in fact need to be replaced, then the junkyard might be your friend. i am in this boat atm but i found a right fender for 35 bucks. it sits in my room because i don't want it to get rusted but it will be put on when i go in for a paint job. you should be able to get a fender from 84-89 cars and i am pretty sure it should fit. if i am wrong someone will be sure to chime in.

Junk yard, buy/sale forum. The other forum has a pretty active buy and sell section as well.

Fenders are the same across all years.

Man good luck, I had looked for almost a year before I found one, and I am still looking for a bumper for my 89.

When you do find a fender, be real careful about shipping. UPS will dent it, and then claim it's not their fault because it wasn't packaged right. Good time to spring for shipping insurance, I say.

i had a beef with ups before, they damaged a $200 computer case. its funny how talk of a lawyer quickly sped up us getting taken care of lol.
