E-Brake Warning Light Stuck On

My Emergency Brake warning light under on the gauge cluster has been stuck on since I bought the car. I figured it was the switch so I pulled the one on my parts car and swapped it in but that didn't fix the issue.

I didn't have my multimeter on me so no other diagnosis was attempted; plus I don't really think I would have know what I was doing anyway.

Looking at the wiring diagrams is really just giving me a headache. When the plug is disconnected the light is still on.

Any ideas guys?

OK, I'm retarded - My brake fluid reservoir is low. I hadn't realized that the warning light was tied to anything other than the parking brake.

Maybe I can take this thread in a different direction.

I did a compression test today - 130psi on cylinder #1, 150 on #2, 155 on #3, & 150 on #4.

Not so bad, could be better.
