need help w/ temp gauge

Hi i have an 89 mr2 s/c and my temp gauge just stop working i was wondering if anyone could tell me whats wrong with it and any solutions thanks

Check to make sure that your gauge sensor is plugged in. It is on the water block on the back of the head (passenger side) above the supercharger right around the water pump. It's a single wire there and the sensor faces the front of the car - it often times falls off when the connector wears out, so might want to get in there and crimp on a new one too.
