My car won't run when it's wet! What do I do?!

Check the distributor seal and make sure there is no water in the distributor. If there is, dry it out and try to start it... if it starts, get a new distributor seal. If it doesn't, check your plugs.

Sticky please. kthxbye.

Same thing happened to me, because i had a custom air intake that took the air from the bottom of the car. When I hit a big puddle, the car would stall and then not start for awhile. This shouldnt be the case with stock stuff, but just a thought.

I can't drive my car in the rain or a car wash cause I have an after market intake... It just soaks the filter. So I just pull it off when I give it a bath.

this happend to me i have a mk1 i needed new spark plug wires the MK1 take a special spark plug wire at the bottom of the wire where it plugs into the head there is a round boot if the boot is swollen or missing then water can get down in or around the spark plug which causes it to miss really bad. my car did this after i washed it for the first time and i realized what it was i had to take the sprakr plugs out and dry them off and turn the motor over to get the water out of the engine. im not sure if this is what yours is doing but its just a thought
