Hey Justin...

Is there any way you can make the headlight lens covers not bulge up like they do? A little rounded is okay but I think it'd look better if it was a bit smoother.

i like the oem headlight look. but, also like the sleepy eyes look. can someone show me how to do this on my 91 lights? i like for it to open up to sleepy eyes mode. and close down all the way.

Well if you want to keep your OEM headlights but want to open them 1/2 way for a car show or something, the easiest way is to just open them manually.

In your frunk behind the headlights there are 2 knobs, usually covered by a plastic cover. Pop them off and you will see a round knob you can turn to open/close your lights.

When done just turn on your lights for a moment and then off and they will reset to OEM position.

When I started the whole thing I was planning on making sets that dont have the bulge in them also. I feel the bulge only looks good on widebodys. So yes I would make them, But as you can see you are only the third person to say you are interested in them for that price. So thats the reason why I havnt put that project on my top priority list.

Understandable. I'll ask around here is SoCal and see if I can generate you some more business. Mind if I use your pictures to show them examples. Your prototypes are the best looking I've seen so far...so I think it could help. I'm pretty sure I can get at least two more buyers .

Hey Justin...do you have any sketches of the headlights without the bumps? I'd like to get them as smooth as possible (when compared to the stock headlight covers). I think your kit looks great so far and would be willing to put down a deposit if it helped. I don't have the money at this second but I'd put half down by the beginning of next year if you think you'd have them done by summer '09.

Mark,

The ones with no hump, I would actually use the factory headlight cover as the mold for the plexiglass. So you would have a look as smooth as your factory headlights just flushmount. And as for the design of the headlight assembly it would use to small projectors but the lights would still be staggered. So you would have the same look just pretty much no humps.

^That's perfect...exactly what I've been wanting. Like I said...I'll put down half if you'd like so you know I'm committed to buying them from you. I'm gonna bring the subject up at our big meet on the 16th and see if I can generate some interest
