I figure we need pics of these to discuss them, so, here they are.

The revision 6 system:
I'm actually working on setting up a GB for these.

My favorite by far is the Revision 6 lowrise quad kit by Rogue Systems. It has a Ferrari-esque feel to it. Also, it just looks much better than the 6054 barndoor sealed beam from the factory. Lowrise kits give a better beam pattern and more illumination than most flushmounts mainly because how shallow the slope on the front of an MR2 is. Unless someone makes a flushmount kit like that for the RX-7 where it sticks up above the hood line a little, it will probably remain that way.

The other advantage is the conversions (NSX, FTO, 3000GT) take thousands of dollars in getting the parts, custom body work, and the paint.

I like the rev 6s alot.

There's also a guy that makes new rods that simply make the lights rise lower, for use with shorter sealed beam units. IIRC, they're ~$80-100

edit tam dihn makes them. I think that's his SN as well.

The FTO conversion is sexy.
And the NSX and GTO conversions are very nice as well.

yah, GTO is the best version but lots of moula and not much actual demand. So, the rogue version is the 2nd best thing.
