The JDM Mk1 power folding mirrors were only on the Super Edition. The same mirrors came on other Limited G Mk1's in Japan but weren't power folding, but looked the same. There's a JDM '89 SC Limited G in Vancouver with these mirrors but not power folding. Other guys who've got the power folding ones like mine were also white.
On a side note, the Blue Super Editions had a special blue paint code that was different than the 8E3 paint code that was used from '87 > '89.

The light blue Mk1's were available from '84 to '86. They're an uncommon paint colour but not super rare. I've seen a Dec. 84 from Oregon in mint shape that colour - beautiful.

Adam, I'll add you to my MSN.

If they're in nice shape I'll buy them from you.

Stupid Question: Is this thread only about OEM parts, or is it about rare parts in general?.. because I know of other rare parts that aren't OEM but are rare nontheless.

Mk1 Rear window louvers, I think they were a dealership option. I know they're fairly rare.

Interesting Russ. I've never seen them before. They don't looke "Toyota-y" to me, but I'll definately look into it.

Thanks !

i have the rain guard installed, it's not that hard. you need to get under the weather strip till you see the silver linner. you attach the hooks there but before you do that. Theres a techinqe to putting the guard w/ the sticker on but it's hard to say it.

Sorry for the close up, it's a rear window louver for the Mk1. I've seen about 4 Mk1's around here with them but not sure where they came from. They look to be a dealership option because of the age of these parts and the fact there's a few with them. Other people have reported seeing them around the US in many different places too, but still not that many of them.
