My '2 badly needs a paint job, so I've been looking at different options to see if I want to go back straight OEM look, or play just a little (tastefully of course).

You can run 2 wires from the fuse box in the frunk to a switch on ur dash and put male connectors on the end to the fuse box and put it in instead of the fuse and put inline fuses on each of the cables just to be safe 20min done. then u can adjust the light height by flicking the switch on your dash when you turn your lights on . easy.

would it be rice if you only did one side?

I am torn, it depends on what body kit, lights, paint.

I like the flow of the factory look personally though, but I don't completely think it looks rice!

IMHO that gives the car a more misterious & bit serious look instead of the original baby eyes like look

& I consider them just a cheaper solution for this ---> 4Beam .. I need them in my life

Comparison, left stock, right 4Beam

That way you can have the look & funcionality to be able to drive it like that

I think the regular sleepy eyes look appears broken, but the 4Beam system is much more of a stock feel and compliments the SW20 front end. Lose the Lambo doors though...

My Google Map

Sleepys appear to be a lazy mod/fad for mostly stockers.
(Here today gone tomorrow.?)

Revision 6 seems to be a custom statement for those who want their cars to stand apart. (These folks may change mirrors too?)

Where is the next "new design" look???

Agreed. ^ And after talking with an owner of a Rev 6 package, it ain't worth the trouble & cost IMO. They're nice looking, but they're far too involved to label as mere 'bolt-ons'. Besides, if they're only up at night, who's gonna see 'em anyway?
