I'd rather be able to save up for my AEM EMS than have cool lights.

Hmm,
I put mine on in a couple hours with simple hand tools....been on the car for years with no troubles so far. In all honesty the only issues I have had with people having BIG troubles with the kits are those that missed a step or otherwise didn't follow the installation instructions carefully. Had a few people even get out hacksaws...really.
Adjusting them can be a pain if you don't think ahead and simply leave the shroud off for a couple days to dial them in the way you want.
I leave mine up all the time and have my city lights wired into the parking light circuit so I have daylight running lights. Looks nice really.

Revision 6 lights will give you the 4 lights up front. However to run all 4 at once you will need to do some rewiring of the Toyota OEM light system. I can not help you with that, it is too much liability if you overload the wiring and melt your car. However I have yet to hear of anyone that did this having an issue.

Cost varies a little based on exchange rate, but that sounds fairly close.
I have 2 kits in stock.

Also on a side note....
I have helped and offered 7 people with tech support and part sourcing that have purchased kits from 'other' sources. Glad to help people, but I felt it was worth mentioning....

The only kit I would ever want to buy is the 4beams kit. Problem is the guy is that made them will not make another run of them, and isn't selling the designs either.

"4beams kit?" Not sure if you mean the Revision6 kit from Rogue in the UK, or the 4x6 rectangular light set-up that was made in Germany a while back, OR some other kit I am not aware of. Do you have a picture?
THIS is a shot of that German 4x6 kit:
<edit> I see reviewing to post #50 that the pic below IS the 4beams referred to earlier

Surprised the thread got all the way to post#63 before someone mentioned Pivot controller. It allows adjustment of headlight rise height from inside car by turning dashboard knob. Lights raise fully when headlights on, will close to any preset partial height when headlights go off. No need to get inside frunk and turn manual knob.

The 4beams kit is NOT the REV6 kit. I'm not sure why they called it 4beams. Yes, it is the German kit were they look like stock headlights, but a lot smaller like the one you have pictured. It's not called the 4x6 kit. In fact,
matthias Kilger, the guy who made them used to have a website, but I can't find it anymore.

If the 4beams/4x6 German kit was made, I would buy one today for my 93t. Rev6 is annoying b/c the bottom quarter of the lights shine into the backside of the bumper, and the shroud has gaps. Not really feeling the look of it either.

I like the Rev6. I have read a post that discusses the lights being partially behind the bumper. That is done so that the lids can be as low as possible without compromising the light pattern. Where you put them is owners choice. The lights shown in this thread, post 55, for example are NOT behind the bumper. The problem with the 4beams kit is that the lens actually is about 4" x 6" so there is a big black area of shroud on either side of the bulb:

The oem light is 7 1/2" wide, the opening in the shroud is 8":

The Rev6 shroud opening is 8" edge to edge (two 3 1/2" circles, 1/2" between)
The BEST light IMO would be a rectangular bulb with HI/LO beam (two filiments) 7 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" or 4" high.
Something like the early NSX lights, but I think they are too big/deep. Anyone have dimensions?

Something like this but in a pop-up version might be interesting. But definately not street legal.

Alot of tracks have minimum size requirements for tow hooks front and rear. I spose to make it quick/easy to get cars that can't move under their own power out of the way. Not sure how THAT one might compare...

Best chance would be to email this guy, and beg him to make another run. I'm on the waiting list, but I doubt it's gonna happen.
