link isn't working anymore, but I would say unless the motor has been rebuilt (etc) that the price may be a bit high...

the alltrac's are a PITA to work on... they can also be found relatively inexpensively if you know what you're looking for....

friend picked his up a couple years ago for $2200... it's an 88....had a Toyota rebuilt motor in it, TRD exhaust, and Greddy adjustable boost controller (electronic) and a turbo timer.... However, even with the new motor it still has problems and he's had to pull the motor 2 or 3 times.... which getting the trans on can be a pain.....

he also has the added bonus of each time he pulls the turbo he has to replace a specific gasket -- which nobody sells individually and you have to replace each time... toyota sells the kit for like $120

he's debating 1 of 2 things.... sell it.... or do the rav4 trans/v6 swap..... he claims it's a fast car (although up to 100mph it's slower than my aw11 w/ 4agze and C series) but just doesn't feel right for racing.... he is also an AW11 owner, so you can probably understand where he's coming from in terms of "fun to race" factor.

Well, most All-Trac owners know what they have and jack the price on them. It's crazy seeing 1990 ST185s with 185,xxx Mi with issues and rust go for 5-7k. I would love to add one to the family and almost got one before my MR2, but i hear they do have a bit of maintainence to keep up on. But i would say it's worth it because they are awesome ass cars!

All they need are quality diff's, driveshaft's and a sturdy clutch, it's not rocket science it's just a drain on the wallet.
