normally you use an original seat belt mounting hole if they are in the right place (easier on a 4 seater ) or put new mounts in using a steel plate and a seat bolt nut then use special forged eyelets and a strong double skin clip that comes with the race belts
see blurry picture ![]() there are a few other options but the main thing is making sure you reinforce the mounting area with added steel as a normal body skin will tear through there is actually a scary amount of ricer crap out there thats made to look like race stuff but nowhere near as strong i.e. ****y belt mounts , aluminium bonnet pins , plastic race seats the only reason they are alowed to sell that stuff is it will normally say on the box "for race or show use only " |

gotcha, I'll be taking them out soon, usually that's where the coat hanger clips go right? I would need to buy those. :/

yeah...the ones on top where the coat hanger is not the safe pont. glad that you removed it. the proper location is right behind the seat on the fire wall, hole and plate behind it.

Actually those mounting points are very safe. They are the factory mounts for child seats anchors. There is one behind each seat.

my driver side belt buckle is a mission, since I have to slide it back, buckle, and slide forward again, since it's a race seat it falls way below and back.
