5sfe problems (help !!!)

Ok so i recently decided to purchase a 91 n/a t top mr2 with 5sfe the car has been sitting for about 2 years but i bought it for only 500 bucks in tact and i did all the timing changed plugs fuel filter brand new stock ecu oil coolant filter air filter etc compression check and fuel pressure check also changed spark wires now the car fired up on the first shot and idles at about 950 rpms everything looks good but when i got in and reved it and once it hits 2500 rpms it starts misfiring and banging thier are no check engine lights and i have checked everything like timing plugs fuel pressure distributor everything and its driving me crazy some times the car will rev past 2500 rpms and the it will go back to were i cant rev past agian all sensors are working and i feel like im stuck in a rough spot any advice....??? kinda sucks dont have lift and garage is bout the size of a closet lol

did you replace the old fuel?

Yeah i dropped tank changed fuel pump with new oem and fresh new gas i am wondering if it might have a bad fuel injector or regulator cause i pulled plugs all look like thier getting fuel except i pulled the 4 cylinder and noticed it was extremely clean not sure yet i havent had time since i wokr graveyard and sleep all day so when i get a chance i will have to dissasemble the fuel rail and check injectors
