T-Top glass
Hello,
Got a quick question for you guys, I got a 91 T-Top, and my brother recently has been going through a slump, cuz he's a dummy, well, I asked him to remove the passenger glass, while we were in the parking lot, and it slipped off his hands shattering it into a million pieces , his facial expression said it all , along with mine , So I'm rocking glass with cardboard, for the cold nights. So my question is: Is there any way to just replace only the glass, or do I have to purchase the entire assembly??? Thanks in advanced, Alvaro. |

i am sure you might be able to find someone with a broke other part and maybe they could sell you the glass. it would probly be a ton easier to just go to a yard and get a top.

finding them out here is the problem, I have to drive 100 - 200 miles away from here for that, and the shady owner always say, we don't know what we have, but you have to pay before entering.

There's always someone selling t-tops. Usually they go for $40 plus shipping which is about 50-60. So figure 100 for a new set of t-tops if you want to buy used. You can take them apart and just replace the glass, I think, but it's a pain in the butt to take the plastic trim off and do that. Look around for a part out and then just pick them up. Good luck getting it fixed. Cardboard doesn't do too well in the rain.

if you can't find glass, there should be some carbon fiber ones on eBay. Its not the assembly, just the glass part. Not cheap, but it's a replacement at least.

Well after searching with no luck, I finally just bough the glass from Toyota, it was 133 with free shipping, and finally got it back on, no more cardboard, and plastic bags, now for the clutch its still at a stand still.
