Taking the 2 up highway 1 from Los Angeles to Monterey (northern California) after getting it and getting the engine running, just to test the car non stop for the most part, except for gas! All by my self! Oh yeah, nothing special in the car, not even a stereo. Man my back was killing me by the time I got there, but yes it's true. Took off at 4am and got there at 11am. Yeah it took me forever, but that's my two story. Man, we are crazy people.

Oh yeah, reading that long ass list also makes you a twoer...haha

FYI, if you're gong to drive that far, always have a co-driver, you can still get tired no matter what car you have. It's like going to Vegas from LA, I dread that trip now. I've done it on different cars and well, no matter how comfortable they are, it's still a pain in the butt, literally.

I've taken 12 our drives in my Acura RL and not had any butock discomfort.

You know you're a car guy when your 18 month old son's favorite activities are standing in the driving seat, holding the steering wheel, going "na na na, vroom vroom", and riding in the car seat up the 28 turn 3 mile uphill run that we have just down the street... Freshly paved.

From Redstars list: this is me

9. Over half of the cars you have ever owned in your life were MR2s!
(its the only car I've owned)
10. You know, more or less, the owner of EVERY MR2 in your area or at least
where they live!!
(kinda, theres only 2 besides mine)
30. Being able to spot an MR2 just from almost everywhere. For example, driving past a parking lot with lots of cars and just one MR2: what do you see in the glimpse of driving by?
(absolutly)
37. You turn OFF the stereo, just to listen to the engine.
(who doesen't?)
41. Downshifts and avoid braking in turns that other cars need to brake to get through
(fun to leve them behind)
42. In the middle of the turn, you realize that they are too slow so you have to brake not to tail-end them.
(done that)
44. Feel real proud when the kindergarten boys point at your car instead of the Ferrari next to it.
(of course, but only when I have the roof of)
52. You spend all your time thinking "how do I make it go faster"
(always)
54. Your signature line says something about your car.
(yep)
57. You see people talking in the car next to/behind you, and think they are
admiring your car
(I bet they do)
59. You like to look at the reflection and really let it rev out before you
shift
(yea)
60. On freeway onramps that cloverleaf, you like to hug the inside and really
gas it...
(so fun)
72. You know the location of every building in town that gives a good reflection of you in your MR2, and try to incorporate them into every trip when you leave the house.
(I do, but I dont always drive past)

when your living room is filled with all the parts that need to be cleaned spotless before you put your motor/parts back together in the car. No joke my living room has all my parts in it. I've been scrubbing them like crazy for a while now.
