i am 24. i don't really know any other mr2 owners (that's why i joined this forum!) but when i went to UTI i knew a few kids who did and they were all about my age.
Currently i own a Crimson Red stock 91 n/a t-top. daily driver now but BIG plans for her. i am saving money for a daily driver (Toyota pick up just can't decide what year). once i have the truck i will be building the Deuce into a track spec road racer mwhahahahahahahaha. i want to give you guys some sh*t you've never seen from a female before. |

I'm 17, just got my MR2 about 3 months ago. It is completely bone stock, although it seems like somebody already fully stripped and replaced the interior. I had to take off a lot of the inner trim panels because I was chasing a leak from my t-tops, and everything I took off had like 2 or 3 broken clips, the screws had been partly stripped, things like that.
I actually plan on swapping my interior at some point, because it is blue cloth right now and ugly as sin. I want to swap in some bucket seats and 5-point harnesses with a harness bar, maybe an aftermarket steering wheel too. I plan on cams, intake, and exhaust first though. Rims will have to fit in there somewhere, I want some really light weight forged rims. deucegirl03, I have the same plan as you. I want an older Tacoma as my daily driver and plan on eventually making my MR2 a track car. Plus, I want a 4x4 in the winter, and for off-roading in the weekends. |

I can't wait till I get the money to work on it. I'd really love to get a widebody and wide wheels on it, but even stock width would work.
My money is going into engine work first though. My friends here all know that I am the anti-rice. And in my opinion doing body work and interior stuff is almost ricey. |

^ I agree, but like I said I feel silly spending money on looks when it could go to performance.

I have 26, bought first Mr2 at 18 as a first car, I have drive the second family car from 16 to 18. Now I'm with my 4th Mk1, and I hope this one still in one piece until I was in last set of age ! Maybe I will consider buying another one for winter, who knows.
