at 50 i hate being in the 50-100 catagory! it could be that my age is what makes me feel a little out of place here. my car is mostly stock. it's a toy for me not just transportation. maybe a little mid life crisis.

I'm 24, turning 25 in October. I got my '91 Turbo JDM MR2 (RHD) a few months ago now and have been working on it ever since.

Got new wheels/tires (Tenso R) and am currently in the process of installing new GAB Adjustable Coilovers and a new set of inner tie rod ends. Once that's done I can get cracking on my CarPC and audio system...

20-25 FTW!

24

MKII T havent driven it (seriously) in 2 years, so I would say it's my toy. It's lightly modded, with some plans for track day type stuff.

Looking for a good low miles 88/9 SC for a colloector car

Looking for a SMT MKIII for daily driving.

I think I'm hooked.

I'm 29 and have a bunch of mods done. Currently I'm driving an Integra as a daily driver and just use the MR2 as a hobby/fun car.

31 here

sold my honda accord
bought an mr2 (94 n/a) a few weeks ago as a project car

the car is bone stock and in perfect condition..well taken car of

im doing all of the interior mods now

-new cruise control integration (new stalk not dash mount)
-short throw shifter with momo knob
-momo wheel
-new subs and amps
-pioneer nav head unit
-xm
-led mods to the ignition light
-reverse glow gauges
-extra thick sound insulation..floors doors and firewall
-door keyhole led mod
-climate control led light mod
-custom fiberglass sub boxes (so i dont waste interior space)
-new widow and t-top seals
-tint
-seats being recovered in black leather

i may have the interior panels around the radio and gauges painted a satin silver finish..but i dont want the ricer look.

just basically all of the comfort for the interior..then ill work on the engine mods..

im doing most of this myself.
this is just a toy for me so i can do it at leisure and do it right

I'm also building a rock crawler jeep at the same time (91 XJ)
"another toy"

Paint is coming towards the end of the summer. Body work is going to be completed in the next two months with the addtion of fender flares and the refitting of the front kit. I put the car in a ditch a few months ago, so I'm still reworking some of the body parts. It did fit perfectly before the encounter.

I did the doors because I see alot of MK1's with big suspension set-ups, or big motor set-ups, but I've only seen a few that have a fair amount of modification to the exterior/body.
