Have you ever slept in your 2?

A couple of times now I've arrived at race tracks so late (early?) that it wasn't worth going to find the hotel so I sacked out in the car.

I drove 12 hours from Colorado to the Grand Canyon only to find out every hotel in the area was booked. WTF?! Too cold to camp so my GF and I had to sleep in the duece. Best night of sleep I ever had......

Im going to live in my trunk area, Store my food in my hood, and have my appliances on my passenger side, and of course my clothes stay dry on top of the engine.

ive passed out drunk many times in my 2, and woken up not knowing where i was. my friends just usually toss me in the passenger seat, park, take my keys and leave me in there for the night. man those werre good times.

I've tried a couple times but i could never fall asleep. I'm almost too tall to drive the damn thing much less sleep in it.

I just had to this past weekend. Being drunk and trying to get some good rest is not a good combo, adding your deuce in to the equation and its just bad. Still doable tho.

I had a hard enough time sleeping in my firebird when I had it, plus I usually keep camping gear of some sort or another in my car, and I haven't ever driven it far enough to have a reason to sleep in it

I had no cash and was way low on gas. One night i was coming home from a friends house and ran out of gas in the boonies. My cell phone wouldn't get service for another 8-10 miles down the road. So, i walked for about 4 and a half hours until my phone finally got a bar of service and called my friend to bring me a can of gas. All they had was a 2 liter pop bottle of gas. Those 2 liters JUST BARELY got me to the gas station. On the way there the car would sputter and die, so i would have to wait until the gas settled into where the pump was and then start her up again and go a few more feet until i had to turn left. If i turned right it was all good, but any lefties and she died. So i'd coast the corner, wait a few minutes, and then try to start her again.

I finally got to the gas station and of course it was closed. I tried to used my bank card, but it wouldn't work. So i had to sleep in my car from around 1 in the morning until 7AM.

Around 3 am a cop knocked on my window. I opened up and said "hi" very politely. He asked if i had been drinking and thank God i hadn't. I recieved a field sobriety test at the gas station, then told him my story and he left me alone. I ended up sleeping till almost 8AM, filled up, used my card insde and it worked. ANd went home. I was so pissed that the pump card reader didnt work. I tried my card in all 8 pumps at the gas station and none of them worked, but of course the one inside worked JUST DANDY!

Ive taken short naps, but nothing too crazy that I would want to repeat. The car is too cramped to spawl out and the seats dont recline to a comfortable position.

haven't even driven my 2 yet, and not to be rude, but the 2 by comparison to my miata is a "big" car, which is why I like it. To get to the point, I have not slept in my miata either, but let me tell ya, anything's possible...even with the top up. I'm 5'10 and she's 5'7...it works.
