outcome mr2 vs. rsx-s?

a kid thinks he will walk all over my mr2 (ct20b with 12psi, 3inch down pipe) in his acura rsx-s (stock)...what do you think the outcome will be...racing a mile strait stretch...

Bench racing...

Does it really matter what people *think*, its what you can do. If you think he's wrong, then prove it to him.

if both cars run tip top shape, you would win.

it all comes down to the driver and how well the car is maintained.

also, please keep this on the track because we dont want KIDS making the street any more dangerous than it already is.

with that said. now go drag his ass safely and win one for the TWOS.

You will rape the shit out of him.

If you are a good enough driver you can beat M3s!

And just for reference. When I was stock with the CT26 and 15 PSI. I raped a Jackson Racing Supercharged RSX Type S.

turn up the boost to about 16 psi or so, and then race him, the race will be over within the first 30ft i guaruntee it, youll put such a hard spanking on his slow 15 second FWD Econo box, that he will no longer beleive the myth that his torqueless Acura is somehow "fast". This joker prolly swears its fast because he has the k20 rsx-s since its the fastest version of the car.
Reminds me of that kid in the mr2 hits volkswagen video that was like "Atleast he didnt hit the Type R Integra" I couldnt help but think to myself when I heard that comment "Why? Like a Type R Integra is something special or fast???"

Ask him to put $50-$100 down on the race, and see if he still talks the shit, I had some clown at a jack n the box that noticed my car, claiming his 380hp ford escort could smoke me since I said that my car only had about 400hp with the boost turned up on my stock unopened engine.

I told him as someone who is an experienced drag racer who goes to the track, I think his car has probably about 150hp, and he was still adamant on it being fast, of course this mysterious 380hp escort was not anywhere around me.

Long story short, nut jobs without the car there as proof, can claim there car to be as fast as they think it to be, doesnt mean there right, just ask them to put money on the race, leave the money up for grabs at the starting line with somebody you both trust not to run off with it, and whoever wins gets the dough, and thats how I make my livins.

Ever since I got my deuce I have been all about it and almost forgot about my Civic. But as a Honda owner and someone who tries to stay in the know of all things Honda, the Type R is coveted because it is the most rare of all USDM Integras, and the quickest one around too. People would pay good money for the Type R or at least for it's engine. So...even though I personally feel the 2 is more rare then the Type R, if you are a Honda fan I can see why the Teggy would be more of a concern then the deuce.

With that said... I have spanked 2 Teggys already with my NA, and made fun of an RSX, but I believe that he was not the best driver up for the task, otherwise I think I would have not done as well as I did.

For a mile straight? Are you kidding me? You better be on a track... at those speeds you'll kill yourself and others.

3/8 of a mile is enough to get you up to around 115 - 130mph depending on your car and your setup. Please keep those sorts of speeds on a track.

The only ppl who need 3/8 of a mile to race are honda ricers, cuz there so damn slow to get anywhere fast.

Seriously though, youll have him smoked by the time your shifting into 2nd, Ive gone up against cars of similar power to weight, they truly are an effortless kill for a mr2 turbo. youll have a bus length on him before you shift into 2nd, and you wont need 3/8 of a mile to do it, youll reach crazy, morbidly fast speeds at the end of 3/8's in a mr2, let alone a 1/4 mile, Id say an 1/8 is all you need to show the man whats up, make sure theres money on the line, otherwise your wasting gas and risking a fatass street racing ticket for no reason.

BTW, have you even asked him, or intend to ask him to put money on his car yet?
