The MR2 MKII NA is a well built, reliable and beautiful car. However, it uses an economical Camry engine. Don't bet on beating anyone.

By the way, if you know so little about the car, how much do you expect we know ?

You will be racing at the track though, right ? Street racing is illegal

I hope you are talking about at the track. Fast and Furious was just a movie, not reality. Try not to live your life that way. I'm not saying you are talking about street racing, but if you are, that's a good way for everyone here to think you are a ****-nut. Just a word to the wise, if you are referring to street racing, don't talk about it on a public forum, and especially not this one.

Good deal. Why not just go to the track to have fun. If you win you win, if you don't, at least you got more experience.

Lol, I love how people are making all these prediction with NO information.
The car could have an RB26 in it for all you know.

Freddy, I suggest you get a look under his hood first and see what engine is really in there.
I've seen "single cam" Mustangs with cobra motors droped into them and you can bet the car got just a little bit faster with that modification.

civic hatches are slow as ****. stock na mk2's have ran 15.8-16.0's pretty consistantly, by many people. sure its not fast by any means, but a gay hatch is close if not in the 17 second range.

If he wont let you see his motor, then it's probably modified.
