Detailing your MR2 Is puke harmful to paint?

to make a long story short, i threw up out the window of my girlfriends car last night and there's puke all over the passenger side of the car. Will it harm the paint if I wait to wash it until tomorrow afternoon or do I need to wash it off right away?

Wash it off as soon as you can, puke has a really low pH. Regardless, you puked on your girlfriend's car, wash it off instead of make her suffer with it

I know I know, I felt so bad but hey shit happens. If it were easy for me to wash it off I would but I live in an aparment complex so I kind of can't do it tonight unless i take it through a carwash. I already tried dumping a gallon of water on it but that didn't do much. Guess I'm heading out to find a car wash.

couldn't there be traces of stomach acid in your puke that could harm it? You know when you get really sick and you puke but there's nothing left..you just puke liquid that is all sour and stuff...ewwww

that's what I was worried about, and i puked becuase i drank 6 22oz newcastles at the bar with a completely empty stomache minus the popcorn from the bar, lol the car is gross, lol

Your puke is no more acidic than your normal acid rain. It won't harm your car if it sits there for a day or 2, but it will if it sits there for an extended period of time.

I've got u beat, back in HS when I was dating a hawaiin, we were quite the exhibitionists. Anyways, one dark night after one of my baseball games, I railed her on my hood/passenger fender while parked on the side of a neighborhood street. Two days after, my father comes to me and asks what is this on my hood. So I looked and it was her dried up smudged creamy goodness that I never noticed. THEN he touched it with his fingers!! I told him that we had cupcakes (which was true. she baked me cupcakes that day) and she must have dropped it on my hood and smeared it when she tried cleaning it up. bwuahahahaha

i washed it off with some dish soap last night, I'm gonna take it to work today and wash the whole car there with some actual car soap. I know dish soap isn't the best but that's all I had. I figured it's better than the puke for sure.

word american beer just plain sucks. There's a few that are OK but nothing that I really enjoy, too light and too fizzy. Honeybrown is ok, but bud, coors, etc are ******* gross. I like labatt though
