making tail lights shiny again
My taillights (94+ style) are kind of dull, is there something I can use to make them shiny again? I thought someone had mentioned it once, but I searched and searched but couldn't find the post. thanks

I use PlastX from Meguiars. It's around $10 I think. Works wonders.

Colgate Tooth paste works!!!
I was a little skeptical toothpaste would work on my 1991 MR2 BUT
my taillights look great just like factory/showroom new. I can see my reflection in them and makes that extra touch that really helps to bring the car back. It is a cheap but successful solution for me. THANKS FOR THE TIP!!! |

best and fastest way is to hit up yur tail lights or headlights with buffer on the lowest setting with a semi abrasive compound or high power quick cutting glaze and finish with yellow medium cut foam pad-5 mins later yur done slap on sum or yur fav wax( liquid so u can easily clena around the edges) once in a while and voila
keep wetsanding on lights for when u cant even see trought the yellowness hehe or else its a waste of time and sandpaper |
